What is a birth doula?

A birth doula is a dedicated support throughout pregnancy, labour, and beyond, offering continuous emotional, physical, and informational support to ensure a healthy, empowered experience. From pregnancy, where they provide resources, answer questions, and help you feel confident, to labour, where they offer comfort measures and advocate for your wishes, a doula is there to guide you every step of the way. Their calming presence during birth can reduce stress and interventions, helping you feel in control. After birth, they continue to support you through the early postpartum days, assisting with newborn care, feeding, and your recovery. With a birth doula by your side, you’ll feel confident, nurtured, and supported on your journey into parenthood.

Birth Support Package

  • 2 prenatal visit (2 hours each)

  • On call 3 weeks from your due date

  • Support throughout your labour and delivery including 1-3 hours post delivery

  • Support via e-mail, text and telephone throughout your pregnancy and 8 weeks postpartum

  • 2 postpartum (8 hours total) postpartum shift is a minimum of 3 hours of support

  • Your Choice of 1 extra prenatal visit (2hrs) or a postpartum visit (3hrs)

“First 48 Hours Home” Package

The first 48 hours home with your newborn are a special but often overwhelming time. Our “First 48 Hours Home” package provides continuous support to ensure you and your family feel nurtured and confident during this critical period.

Investment: $995 +HST (a savings of over $200!)

Let us help you navigate the first 48 hours with ease, so you can focus on bonding and recovering, knowing you have professional support by your side.

    • 2 daytime doula shifts (6 hours each) to assist with newborn care, help you settle in, provide feeding support, and offer emotional and physical guidance. (Valued at $480)

    • 2 overnight doula shifts (8 hours each) to allow you much-needed rest while we care for your baby through the night. (Valued at $810)

“First Day Home” Package

Bringing your baby home is a joyful yet overwhelming experience. Let us ease the transition with our special “First Day Home” package designed to give you and your family peace of mind during the critical first 24 hours.

Investment: $545 +HST (a savings of over $100!)

Start your journey as a family with confidence and the support you deserve.

    • 6 hours of daytime doula support to help you settle in, provide guidance on newborn care, assist with feeding, and offer emotional support. (Valued at $240)

    • 1 overnight shift (8 hours) where a caring doula will provide restful support, so you can sleep, knowing your baby is in good hands. (Valued at $405)

“First Week Home” Package

Your first week home with a new baby can be full of unexpected challenges and emotions. Our “First Week Home” package is designed to provide ongoing support to help you and your family adjust with ease and confidence.

Investment: $1600 +HST (a savings of over $300!)

Enjoy the support and guidance you deserve during those first precious days as you bond with your baby.

    • 3 daytime postpartum doula shifts (6 hours each) to support your recovery, help with newborn care, and assist with household tasks. (Valued at $720)

    • 3 overnight doula shifts (8 hours each) to ensure you get the rest you need while your baby is lovingly cared for. (Valued at $1215)
