Amy - Founder, Indigenous Doula, Advocate & Mentor
Hi there! I'm Amy, the Founder of The Collaborative Doula Collective, based in London, Ontario, but proudly supporting families all across Southwestern Ontario. I'm a proud mom of three, a devoted wife, an Indigenous woman, and a loving Auntie. As a full-spectrum doula, I’m honored to support families through life’s most significant transitions, including pregnancy, birth, postpartum, abortion, loss, trauma and grief, end of life, and death and dying.
From the miraculous to the deeply challenging, I walk alongside you through the full cycle of Birth, Breath, and Death, meeting you where you are and offering personalized, compassionate, and client-centered care. I believe that everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and empowered through life’s ups and downs.
I’m also a dedicated doula mentor, committed to guiding and uplifting other doulas as they navigate supporting families through these transitions. Community is at the heart of everything I do; I truly believe that to be successful in this work, we need each other. Whether it’s mentoring doulas, advocating for underrepresented communities, or standing beside families in moments of joy or heartache, I’m here to create a strong, supportive, and connected space for all. Meet Delanie, a compassionate doula based in Oxford County, supporting families all across Southwestern Ontario. As a mom of two energetic boys, she brings a wealth of experience from her background in social service work and running a home daycare. Her extensive knowledge of working with both adults and children makes her an incredible asset to the families she supports.
Delanie has a deep passion for providing exceptional lactation support and nourishing food options for families, understanding how vital these elements are to a strong start in parenthood. She’s dedicated to creating cozy, welcoming environments and ensuring everyone feels as comfortable and cared for as possible. Her mission as a doula is to bring back the village mentality, making sure that no one has to navigate their journey alone. With Delanie’s warm, comforting presence, you’ll have the guidance and support you need to feel truly nurtured throughout your birth and postpartum experience.

Christina - Doula, Childbirth Educator and Photographer
Meet Christina, a multifaceted birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, and photographer whose kind, soft yet bubbly personality makes her a joy to connect with. Her unique ability to make people feel calm, beautiful, and supported shines through in both her doula and photography work.
As a photographer, Christina captures the profound beauty of maternity, labor and birth, postpartum family life, and a baby’s first 48 hours with a gentle and intuitive touch. Her presence behind the camera ensures that these precious moments are preserved with grace and authenticity. Christina’s talent extends to her role in the collective, where she is the creative force behind all the branding photos, bringing warmth and life to the images.
In her doula practice, Christina’s supportive and nurturing nature provides families with a sense of peace and confidence. Her seamless integration of photography with doula work allows her to capture and celebrate the beautiful journey of childbirth and early parenthood.

Meet Vanessa, she is a dedicated birth doula, married with two children, who finds joy in connecting with nature and exploring plant medicine for healing. Passionate about women's rights and creating safe spaces, Vanessa is committed to ensuring all pregnant individuals feel satisfied, supported, and empowered throughout their birthing experience.
An empath and avid cook, Vanessa values the importance of community, a realization that inspired her to become a doula after the birth of her first child. She supports all birthing experiences, whether at home or in a hospital, medicated or unmedicated, and feels honored to be part of such a sacred journey. Vanessa's holistic approach and deep compassion make her a trusted and nurturing presence for every family she supports.

Hi, I’m Meg! My journey as a doula is deeply rooted in personal experiences that have shaped my compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting families. I’m passionate about being a steady, comforting presence during both joyful and challenging times, and recently, I’ve found a special love for helping children and families through medical procedures, providing reassurance and care when it’s needed most.
Beyond my work as a doula, I’m also an enthusiastic cook and baker. I love creating delicious, healthy meals to nourish families during pregnancy and postpartum, knowing how important good food is for healing and recovery. Whether it’s whipping up a comforting dish or crafting meals that are both tasty and nutritious, I’m always excited to support families in this special way.
In my free time, I enjoy photography and horseback riding, hobbies that connect me with nature and let me capture the beauty of everyday life. These passions keep me grounded and inspire the joyful, caring spirit I bring to my work as a doula.

Meet Ewehawas, a full spectrum Indigenous doula who weaves her rich heritage, extensive skills, and profound teachings into her practice, offering holistic support to Indigenous families. With a lifelong immersion in the world of birth, thanks to her mother, an Indigenous midwife, Ewehawas embodies a deep connection to the birthing process and her community.
As an active member of Six Nations, Ewehawas has cultivated strong community ties that enhance her support for families. Over the past year, she has dedicated herself to providing unwavering care during pregnancies, births, and the postpartum period. Her goal of becoming an Indigenous midwife underscores her commitment to deepening her ability to serve Indigenous families.
Ewehawas' approach can be likened to the braiding of three strands: the wisdom passed down from her mother, her personal experience and skills, and her devotion to community support. Carmen - Infant & Pregnancy Loss Doula
Meet Carmen. She brings a unique blend of compassion, experience, and expertise to supporting families. As a Registered Nurse, yoga teacher, Infant & Pregnancy Loss Doula and mother of 11—with four earthside babies and seven angel babies—she understands the profound complexities of joy and grief in pregnancy and childbirth.
Her journey, marked by both profound loss and immense love, inspired her to write "A Diary to my Babies," a heartfelt and raw account of her experiences. This deeply personal work sheds light on the emotional landscape of losing a child and has touched many lives.
Today, Carmen dedicates herself to supporting families through the challenging and often overwhelming terrain of pregnancy, birth, and loss. Her empathetic approach helps families navigate their unique journeys, providing a safe space for healing and growth. Carmen’s holistic care, informed by her medical background and yoga practice, ensures that every family she supports feels heard, understood, and cherished.

Meet Semya, an Indigenous woman from the Oneida Nation of the Thames, is a passionate student doula at Fanshawe College. She is committed to supporting all families, with a special focus on Indigenous families, helping to incorporate traditional practices into their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journeys.
Deeply connected to her Culture, Semya is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive care that honours and respects traditional customs. Her compassionate approach and commitment to holistic support ensures that every family feels empowered and valued throughout their birthing experience. Semya’s dedication to integrating traditional practices makes her a trusted and nurturing presence for Indigenous families and beyond.

Meet Bri, a passionate doula dedicated to advocating for families. Her journey began after witnessing the lack of support within the medical system, which inspired her to ensure that everyone receives the compassionate care they deserve.
Having experienced her own personal losses, Bri understands the vital importance of support during challenging times. She started her doula work virtually and has recently expanded to offer in-person assistance.
Committed to continuous learning, Bri strives to enhance her skills to better support families as a doula, mom, and advocate. With her by your side, you’ll have a compassionate ally ready to support you through the joys and challenges of parenthood!

Patti - End of Life, Death Doula
Meet Patti Compassionate End-of-Life and Death Doula and Registered Social Worker with over 25 years of experience supporting individuals and families through grief, trauma, and life transitions. She is dedicated to helping people navigate loss, end-of-life journeys, and personal healing with empathy and understanding.
With a client-centered and collaborative approach, Patti tailors her support to each individual’s needs, creating a safe and nurturing space for exploration, healing, and growth. Her expertise includes grief and bereavement, traumatic loss, end-of-life care, and mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and chronic stress. She believes in empowering her clients by fostering resilience and providing the tools needed to navigate difficult moments with clarity and confidence.
Patti has extensive specialized training in grief counseling, trauma therapy, brainspotting, Internal Family Systems, and hospice and palliative care. She is also passionate about educating groups and organizations, helping to build a more compassionate and supportive community.
Whether you are facing loss, preparing for end-of-life transitions, or seeking personal growth, Patti is honored to walk alongside you on your journey.

Odessa is a Guardian of Birth, Traditional Postpartum Care Provider, and MotherCircle Facilitator with over eight years of experience supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As a mother of four, she has personally experienced a range of births—from medicated to freebirth—deepening her understanding of the many ways birth unfolds.
Her practice is deeply rooted in home birth support, where she provides calm, intuitive, and knowledgeable care for birthing families. With a strong foundation in traditional postpartum care, she ensures families feel held, nurtured, and empowered through their transition into parenthood. Odessa believes birth is a sacred rite of passage, and she is honored to support families in creating a safe, supported, and empowered birth experience.
